Parks & Recreation
The Parks & Recreation department strives to provide exceptional parks, trails and recreational opportunities. We offer 62 parks, 108 miles of pedestrian and bike trails and diverse recreational opportunities for all ages.
With all Lakeville has to offer, it’s no wonder so many special events take place in its parks and recreational facilities.
202nd Street (County Road 50) Reconstruction
Dakota County, in partnership with the City of Lakeville, is reconstructing 202nd Street to a 2-lane divided roadway from Holyoke Avenue to Cedar Avenue. The project includes a roundabout at 202nd Street and Holyoke Avenue and improvements to Aronson Park, including relocating park access to align with Heath Avenue and more.
