  1. Clay Texturing with Steven Showalter

    Are you interested in infusing texture into your work? Watch potter Steven Showalter demonstrate his techniques for adding texture with slip, stamps and textured rollers. He'll demonstrate how to add texture to wheel thrown and slab forms and show some creative ways to attach handles. Students will leave with many new ideas to try. Steven works professionally as a potter and has taught pottery at Prior Lake High School for the past 17 years.     Lunch option - $10
    Students can bring a bag lunch, or pre-order a box lunch when registering. Choose from a turkey sandwich or a veggie wrap. The box lunch will include your sandwich, a bag of chips, cookie and your choice of pop or water.

    In 1976 the rock group known as The Band, held The Last Waltz concert – a celebration of the end of their illustrious touring career. They were joined on stage by more than a dozen legendary artists, including Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Ringo Starr, Muddy Waters, and Neil Young. Join us as we watch some of Minnesota’s finest musicians recreate this once in a lifetime concert.

    Try something new! Fat biking 101 from the International Mountain Bicycling Association certified instructors. This class will teach the four fundamental skills of riding and rider position.
