Snowmobile warning issued for Lake Marion: Snowmobilers and fishermen should be aware that there are currently very dangerous areas of open water and thin ice on Lake Marion. Everyone is advised to keep off the ice at this time.

Notice
Minn. State Law, Chapter 156 of the Session Laws of 2005, requires that "a city or county with a population of more than 15,000 must annually notify its residents of the positions and base salaries of its 3 highest-paid employees." The City of Lakeville's titles and salaries as of Jan. 9, 2012 are: City Administrator, $150,065; Finance Director, $126,516; and Police Chief, $126,516.
