Snow Removal and Ice Control

The Streets Division is responsible for snow removal and ice control on all public streets and roads.

The department has 21 dump trucks with snow plows and salt spreaders, one motor grader, and various other pieces of equipment which make up the 22 street routes. There are also other pickups, one-ton trucks, and two sidewalk units that make up a total of 30 snow removal units.

The Streets Division also clears snow from the Police Department, all four fire stations, and park-and-ride lots.

If you have questions about the current snow removal operations, call (952) 985-PLOW or download the policy below.
